Parent Resources

Christian Service Hours Information
CHRISTIAN SERVICE HOURS for 5th–8th Grade is required!
More info can be found in the Parent/Student Handbook on page 25–26.

The Christian Service Program at St. Paul Lutheran School is to provide our students with the opportunity to put into practice Jesus' words "to love one another as I have loved you" through practical service to the people of St. Paul and the community of West Point and surrounding area. Community Service is the idea of giving your efforts willingly and free of charge to an individual or organization that benefits from your help.
Community service is not doing chores or babysitting siblings (that's part of being a family) nor is it helping a business. Community Service means that you are helping those without the resources to help themselves or helping a non-profit agency.
Christian Service Hours Required:
  • Grades 5 & 6: 10 hours required
  • Grades 7 & 8: 15 hours required
Christian Service Hours may be served during the summer, beginning July 1st, prior to entering 5–8 grade or during the school year. Documentation of service hours are to be submitted to your homeroom teacher on or before May 1st. Students that do not fulfill the required Christian Service Hours will receive an incomplete grade for Religion and the full amount of hours will be added in addition to the next year's requirement.

Teacherease.com
Kindergarten–8th Grade: Gradebook, Assignments, Lunch Money and Attendance is on the website at www.teacherease.com
There is an APP for your smartphone that you may like to install to make checking your child's grades easier. If you have any questions with your Teacherease.com Parent Account, please contact the school office.

Beacon Text Message System
Because of a generous donation, we are able to provide a "Beacon" text message system to our church and school families.
Once you register to become a school family, your cell phone is entered into the Beacon. You will begin receiving school messages related to your child's class and/or the school as a whole. If you need to add or remove a person from the Beacon, please contact the school office.
If you would rather receive emails only (instead of texts), that is an option.

Kingdom Kids — After School Program
Kingdom Kids provides supervised care and activities for students in Pre-K through 8th Grade after school hours. Learn more about enrollment, activities, and program details.

The St. Paul Lutheran School community thrives through parent involvement and support. The Parent Participation Program (PPP) is our way of tracking and recognizing the volunteer hours families contribute throughout the school year.
Whether you're helping at school events, volunteering in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, or supporting school activities, your time and talents make a real difference in our school community. All families are encouraged to participate and track their hours.
Submit your volunteer hours using the form below, and we'll keep a record of your family's involvement.
