Education:   Ms. Doyle graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She has worked in Early Childhood for twenty-five years now. Ms. Doyle loves watching children learn and grow.  She feels truly blessed to be part of the St. Paul's church and school family.  She and her youngest daughter moved to West Point in August of 2022.  Her oldest daughter lives in Omaha.  Ms. Doyle has been at St. Paul Lutheran School since 2022.

​Mrs. Amy Steinmeyer

Education: Mrs. Steinmeyer Graduated from Wayne State College, Wayne, Nebraska in 1993 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  She completed Colloquy in 2007 from Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska.  She holds a Nebraska Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education K-6,  Mrs. Steinmeyer has taught at Zion St. John Lutheran school, Wisner, Nebraska, Fishers of Kids Preschool, Wayne, Nebraska, and West Point-Beemer Public Schools, at both West Point and Beemer, Nebraska sites.    She has been married to her husband Russell for 27 years.  Mrs. Steinmeyer is new to St. Paul Lutheran School this year.

What's something most people don't know about you?   When I was in Kindergarten-4th grade I attended a one room country school and walked ¾ a mile uphill both ways.
What's is New with you?  In a matter of four months (May-August) I will have seen my youngest graduate high school and send him off to college.  I have had the honor of having a daughter on loan for a little while only to stand back watch her become a woman in a blink of an eye and marry the man that God had put aside for her. Oh yes- God sent me on another adventure, as your Kindergarten and First Grade teacher.  There is always something new.

​​Education: Ms. Mashuga graduated from Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop High School in Winthrop, MN in 2020. She graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska in 2024 with a Bachelors of Science in Education with endorsements in Elementary Education, a Lutheran Teaching Diploma, and a minor in Elementary Social Sciences.  Ms. Mashuga is new to teaching and she is very excited to be at St. Paul Lutheran School!

Ms. Daisy Scholl

Education:  Ms. Scholl has an associate degree in science and an associate of arts in criminal justice from Northeast community college. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Wayne State, graduating Cum Laude in 2023 with a major in criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. She is currently working towards her Masters degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Management. She also holds both a current Nursing Assistant Certification and Medication Aid Certification in the state of Nebraska. Her most proud achievement however, has been raising a family. She has two sons, Tony and Jax.  Ms. Scholl is new to St. Paul Lutheran School  this year.

Mrs. Susan Quick
Principal, Music & Algebra Teacher & SPED Director 
Education:  ​Mrs. Quick Graduated from Chadron State College with a Bachelors in K-12 Mild/Moderate Special Education and a Masters in Educational Administration/SPED Supervisor.  She has worked as a paraprofessional in SPED and Alternative Education before returning to finish her degree once her children were grown.  She has worked for North Platte, Sutherland and Ogallala Public Schools as well as providing SPED support for both the Lutheran and Catholic schools in Ogallala.  She is wrapping up this season of teaching as the Tier 3 Behavior/Alternative Education teacher at Nebraska City Public Schools.  She has been married to her husband Ralph for 29 years and God has blessed this marriage with 3 children, 2 son in laws, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  This is Mrs. Quick's second year here at St. Paul Lutheran School.

Pastor John P. Gierke
Pastor
Education:  Pastor Gierke received his BA from Concordia University, Nebraska in Seward in 1991 (History major, Religious Education minor, Pre-Seminary program), and his MDiv and Theological Diploma from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO in 1996. He also studied at the seminary of the LCMS’ sister-Synod in Germany, Lutherische Theologische Hochschule, in Oberursel, Germany during the 1993-1994 school year as an exchange student. He served in various pastoral roles in the LCMS and its Mid-South District in Tennessee and Arkansas before accepting the Call from St. Paul Lutheran Church and School and coming to West Point in March 2022.
