What a great week. In no particular order events of the first week included only a few skinned knees. That gravel on the playground and new shoes can be a dangerous combination. Nothing a few band-aids can't solve. Thankfully.
Did any one else have the blessing that their child's feet grew the morning of school? That was a challenge in our house. The brand new school shoes didn't fit. Nothing another shopping trip can't solve... Looks like we're on a problem solving streak.. ;) That's got to be a good thing. Also in the halls this week, I heard several compliments on our Kindergarten teacher's new clothes. One sweet child told her she looked like a chandelier. That seemed to have sparked several minutes of conversation for the entire class to discuss her patterned blouse. Personally, I'd love to look like a fancy light fixture any day. Really who wouldn't? On last thing... be sure to hop on over to our school's Facebook page to see our 7/8 grade teacher take the ALS ice bucket challenge. It's a fundraiser and awareness campaign that is sweeping social media and it seems everyone is taking the challenge to post video of themselves dumping a bucket of cold water on their head. That just a tiny peak of a few things that have gone on at school this week. Come inside and visit for more funny stories anytime. Blessings from our home to yours.
